All machines, student and instructor, should be configured as follows:

C: Drive formatted as NTFS, 10GB minimum

Windows 2003 Server, default installation except for names
-Instructor should be named \\INSTRUCTOR
-Each computer needs a unique, easy to use name
-Each computer needs a valid IP address for internet connectivity

SQL 2005, Standard or Enterprise Edition (Trial is OK) default installation

Visual Studio .NET 2005

Full Install of MSDN Library

Additional Instructor machine Requirements:
-Powerpoint 2000, full version
-Excel 2000, full version
-C:\Public directory created and shared with Everyone, Read Permissions
-Powerpoint slides downloaded from http://www.certifiednetworks.com/classes/aspnetclass
and installed in C:\PPT directory

For a quality class, please do not clone the drives or rename the machines after installation.
